Is it legal to retain a scanned copy of a credit cardreceipt rather than the printed original? As it is, our system is set upto print credit card receipts on 8 ½ X 11 sheets of paper, but it only printson the upper left corner of the page and we have to manually trim each page inorder to archive them. It’s a very cumbersome and tedious task. Wewould shred the originals once we have scanned them. Any thoughts? Thanks! Patricia Herrera Rose's Equipment and Supply, Inc
