We are trying to become more streamlined and green by have our credit application available online, and setting it up so the customer could fill out the PDF, sign with their digital signature and submit.
I wanted to verify how it worked and found it was rather easy to create a digital signature... which concerns me. Are digital signatures binding?
Or would it be best to accept them but also require the paper copy with ink signature be mailed to have on file...?
