Instructors Neal Otto and Dan Schrenk

Since 1996, Neal and Jumpstart have helped tens of thousands of individuals improve their use of Microsoft technologies.
Neal, a former high school teacher, is known for his broad knowledge of an extensive array of Microsoft software and his ability to connect with students of all abilities and styles. Given his background, he can keep audiences engaged and entertained.
Neal lives in Corvallis Oregon with his sweetheart Shannon. Linus THE Wonder Dog and Cali THE Wonder Dog 2 keep Neal company in his office during webinars. Neal is a long-distance bicyclist and loves to spend any spare time in his shop making sawdust or in the kitchen making bread. Son Nathan is the CFO of Fluke Healthcare; daughter Brynne is self-employed and resides in Bellingham Washington.

Dan Schrenk has cultivated a diverse 25-year career in IT, excelling in both corporate and entrepreneurial settings. In 2009, he founded Schrenk Consulting with a mission to empower small and medium-sized businesses by addressing their IT needs. His journey into the world of machine learning began in 2019 with a software application project that sparked his passion for artificial intelligence. Since then, Dan has been instrumental in developing, implementing, and deploying AI technologies across various projects.
A native of Oregon, Dan resides in Beaverton with his wife, their two children, and their spirited Boston Terrier, Sadie. Outside of his professional endeavors, he is an avid woodworker, particularly enjoying woodturning. Dan is also a dedicated reader with a keen interest in science fiction, biographies, and U.S. history.
