Instructor Wanda Borges, Esq
Wanda Borges, Esq is the principal member of Borges & Associates, LLC, a law firm based in Syosset, New York.
For more than forty years, Ms. Borges has concentrated her practice on commercial litigation and creditors’ rights in bankruptcy matters, representing corporate clients and creditors’ committees throughout the United States in Chapter 11 proceedings, out of court settlements, commercial transactions and preference litigation. She is a member and Past President of the Commercial Law League of America and has been an Attorney Member of its National Board of Governors, a Chair of the Bankruptcy Section and Creditors’ Rights Section.


Cindy Robert is with Rainmakers Government Strategies. Cindy has been working in the Oregon public policy arena for more than three decades, with clients ranging from local governments to Fortune 500 businesses to non-profits. Her work has included all aspects of government relations, legislative and communication strategies, campaign advising, organizational development and PAC management. Cindy's lobbying experience includes influencing Oregon public policy makers, whether local officials, agency directors, licensing boards, legislators or grassroots activists. Cindy is a Willamette University Graduate who also studied at American University in Washington, D.C.
